Arun Govind, MBA, with over 12 years of experience in the Construction Industry, and 20 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry - as a C-Suite Executive or in the Executive Leadership team - has been the Project Director for the King Hamad American Mission Hospital, A'Ali. He is now the hospital's Project Consultant.
He was involved in various successful healthcare projects, in the role of Chief of Operations and of Project Director, which include the construction of the recently opened
King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A'Ali, Bahrain.
Extensive experience in both healthcare & project management makes him an invaluable asset; as he is well-versed with the complexities of the healthcare industry. As an International Surveyor for Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International since 2010, he has surveyed healthcare organizations across the world.
He is the Managing Director of ARHC Consultants, Bahrain & India.
Earlier to his position as Project Director/Chief Operating Officer at the American Mission Hospital, he was the Project Director of Al Salam Specialist Hospital in Bahrain, a 70-bed Multi-specialty hospital, successfully commissioned in Feb 2018.
He brings in a unique combination of 20 years of Global Healthcare experience and 30 years of Project Management experience. He helped build Global Healthcare Delivery organizations through organic and inorganic (M&A) growth initiatives in GCC and India. His exposure, spanning the Asia Pacific and the Middle East, has given him the exceptional opportunity to transform healthcare businesses across different geographies.
As a proven Transformational Leader, he has successfully led many initiatives that took organizations to different levels of performance by delivering high-quality, safe and patient-centric healthcare services.
As an International Assessor for Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI) from 2010, he has surveyed healthcare organizations across Australia, India, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
