The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States Ms. Margaret Nardi visited the American Mission Hospital as part of Discover America Week, held from the 21st to the 27th of October 2020.

Ms. Nardi was received at the hospital by Corporate CEO Dr. George Cheriyan and Group CEO Ms. Julia Tovey, and was given a tour of the hospital, the photo exhibition, and various clinics. “Thank you to the American Mission Hospital team for my first tour of your state-of –the-art healthcare center. You truly are a foundation stone of the Bahraini- American friendship 120+ strong”- CDA Margaret Nardi.

The American Mission Hospital is a vital link in the relationship between the United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain as the legacy of the hospital spans more than 120 years when the first American pioneers came onto the shores of this land and established the first modern hospital in the Gulf.
