Teaching Hospital for RCSI Bahrain
RCSI Bahrain and the American Mission Hospital, have opened a new teaching facility at the King Hamad American Mission Hospital (KHAMH) in A'Ali.

The students of RCSI Bahrain have been interning with AMH for a few years now. But, this new updated collaboration will enable more Bahraini and expat medical students to gain world-class medical education at this place which is now RCSI Bahrain's official teaching hospital.

The two not-for-profit organisations, 240 year old RCSI and 120 year old AMH, are joining forces, for their staff and students, to access world-class clinical and teaching facilities in pursuit of their professional advancement.

Through this collaboration-agreement, an internship programme, overseen by RCSI Bahrain, is being launched at the hospital.

In addition, RCSI Bahrain students will be able to undertake clinical electives in the new hospital, which include learning from a medical innovation hub. At the hub, that is soon to come up, a highly skilled medical team will train local surgeons on the use of specialised technologies in healthcare.

Located on the fifth floor, the new RCSI Bahrain teaching facility will be a landmark facility in building and developing the medical and surgical knowledge and skills of students.
