The three heads of the government's healthcare sector -- the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health  Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Health Ms Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh , and the CEO of the National Health Regulatory Authority Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma – have all visited the King Hamad American Mission Hospital site and reviewed its construction progress, on 30 March 2022.

They were accompanied by National Health Regulatory Authority chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma, Health Ministry Under-Secretary Dr Walid Al Manen and council secretary general Ibrahim Al Newakhdha.
