American Mission Hospital Board Members at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA

The visit team to Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA, during 2-4 Oct 2023, comprised of the American Mission Hospital board members as well as members of the leadership team from AMH, Bahrain.

The visit was primarily, as part of the governance work stream, to understand the Mayo Clinic's vision, mission, culture and values. The schedule also included inputs from experts in the academic and quality work streams, which are the two other areas of close interaction that the hospital in Bahrain is having with the Mayo Clinic.

The visit included presentations, round table discussions as well as site visits to areas of interest as expressed by the AMH team prior to the visit.

The three-day visit ended with the AMH board meeting on the last day, and a session on strategy 2030 for AMH, with inputs from Mayo Clinic experts in various areas.

Mayo Clinic has been rated as the No.1 hospital in the world, as per the Newsweek-Statista Listing of the World Best Hospitals 2023.
